Our day at London Design Week
Last month we had the pleasure of attending London Design Week in Chelsea and we thought that it would be a great article to feature on our website.
With the show being cancelled for the last two years due to covid restrictions it was so good to be able to visit on a beautiful spring day with not a cloud in the sky!
We were treated to an array of alluring items including lampshades in the finest fabrics, handmade furniture with streamlined curves, intricate embroidered throws and gorgeous trims to line curtain edges. Detailing and pattern are clearly important for 2022/2023.
What did we get up to?
We caught up with Zoffany, Romo, Mind the Gap and many more suppliers, checking out the latest collections. We were able to chat to industry experts about the latest design trends, including new colours, textures, patterns and materials.
We also dropped by Colefax and Fowler and looked through its latest collections including Cristabel and Jardine – both collections available to view in our Design Room at Plantation House. Another favourite supplier of ours Porta Romana showcased its stunning spring collection, including the most beautiful lamps. We’re delighted to be able to supply these.
It’s so important for us to be on top of the latest trends and see how the industry is changing. This show offered a great opportunity to view some beautiful fabrics, furniture and home accessories and we can’t wait to incorporate our ideas into our clients schemes!
You will find a selection of products from the suppliers featured within the photos on this post available at our two showrooms. If you visit us and you can’t find what you are looking for, did you know we can source so much more than what is available on display? If there’s a particular supplier that you’d like sourcing for your interiors project, just let us know!
