Pamela, who runs Texture Interiors, started her career in business before spending almost 20 years working in Marketing and Communications. It was during this time that she rediscovered a personal love for sewing and chose to pursue this passion full time. She completed diplomas in Soft Furnishing, Upholstery and Interior Design and went on to set up her own highly successful Soft Furnishings and Upholstery business Russet House Furnishings.
With the success of Russet House came the opportunity for Pamela to take over ownership of Texture Interiors. Having spent many years collaborating with the previous owner on numerous interior projects Pamela eventually took over full ownership in 2015.
In her spare time Pamela enjoys walking her dog Basil and watching her husband Robin as he speeds round race tracks around the country.
Louise joined the team most recently. With a background in textiles Louise worked in the fashion industry as a designer for 6 years, specialising in trends and colour analysis. She has skilfully transferred these skills in her role at Texture with a natural flair for design and eye for colour.
Louise is also a trained Milliner with her own Millenary business and when she’s not busy transforming people’s homes and Texture’s own shop windows she is making bespoke hats for all occasions.
You can take a peak at her work here.
Elspeth joined Texture after 10 years working for Laura Ashley Home Furnishings. Having also spent some time making curtains she has a solid knowledge of fabrics and soft furnishings and has made herself an indispensable part of the team working closely with many of our clients to help create and form their ideas.
Looking after Texture’s business affairs Elspeth also keeps Pamela and Louise on the straight and narrow.
Elspeth lives with her husband on their family farm and when not working at Texture spends time competing with her horse, Pye, at national Events.
